Doers InfoSoft FAQ

Question 1

What is your custom software development process and methodology?

Accepted Answer

We follow a rigorous Agile methodology broken into 5 transparent phases: Discovery & Strategic Roadmap, UI/UX Architectural Prototyping, Iterative Sprint Engineering, Rigorous QA & OWASP Security Testing, and Seamless Cloud Deployment followed by 24/7 proactive continuous monitoring.

Question 2

How long does it take to build custom software or a web application?

Accepted Answer

Timelines depend on the complexity and scope of the project. A minimum viable product (MVP) typically takes 8 to 12 weeks, while complex enterprise platforms can take 4 to 6 months. We provide a strict timeline during our discovery phase.

Question 3

Will I have a dedicated project manager and regular updates?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Every client is assigned a dedicated technical project manager. We operate on bi-weekly sprints and provide weekly progress reports, staging links, and transparent communication via Slack/Teams and Jira.

Question 4

Do you work with early-stage startups or only large enterprises?

Accepted Answer

We partner with both. We help startups build rapid, scalable MVPs to secure funding, and we help Fortune 500 enterprises modernize legacy systems and scale cloud infrastructure.

Question 5

How do you structure your pricing?

Accepted Answer

We offer three engagement models: 1) Fixed-Bid for projects with a clearly defined scope, 2) Time & Material for dynamic projects where scope evolves, and 3) Dedicated Engineering Teams where you hire our developers on a monthly retainer.

Question 6

Are there any hidden costs I should be aware of?

Accepted Answer

Zero hidden costs. Our initial proposal outlines all costs including development, third-party API integrations, and server deployments. If the scope changes, we provide a clear change request estimate before writing a single line of code.

Question 7

What are your payment terms and milestones?

Accepted Answer

For fixed-bid projects, payments are tied to clear deliverable milestones (e.g., 25% kickoff, 25% design approval, 25% beta release, 25% final launch). Retainer models are billed on a monthly cycle.

Question 8

Will I own the Source Code and Intellectual Property (IP) rights?

Accepted Answer

Yes, 100%. Once the project is fully paid and delivered, we transfer all Intellectual Property (IP) rights and the complete source code to you. There are no vendor lock-ins.

Question 9

What technology stacks do you specialize in?

Accepted Answer

We specialize in modern, scalable stacks. For frontend: React.js, Next.js, and Vue. For backend: Node.js, Python (Django/FastAPI), and Java. Mobile: React Native and Flutter. Cloud/DevOps: AWS, Google Cloud, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Question 10

How do you ensure the security and privacy of my application data?

Accepted Answer

Security is non-negotiable. We implement OWASP top 10 security standards, end-to-end encryption (AES-256), secure OAuth authentication, API rate limiting, and regular penetration testing before deployment.

Question 11

Can you integrate the new software with my existing internal systems?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our API integration experts can seamlessly connect your new custom software with existing CRMs (Salesforce, HubSpot), ERPs (SAP), payment gateways, or any legacy databases.

Question 12

Do you provide support and maintenance after the launch?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we provide a 30 to 90-day complimentary bug-fixing period post-launch. After that, we offer customized Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) to ensure your system remains updated and secure.

Question 13

How do you handle bug fixes or downtime after deployment?

Accepted Answer

Our DevOps team monitors your application 24/7 using tools like Datadog and AWS CloudWatch. Critical bugs are addressed immediately under our Service Level Agreement (SLA).

Question 14

Can we scale the team or add new features later?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. We engineer scalable architectures from day one. When you are ready to expand, we can quickly assign additional developers to build new features without disrupting the live system.
